Today I would cycle the whole day on a 2-lane main road to Casablanca.
The question was whether it would be an interesting traject.
But still in Mohammedia I was more or less halted by these enthousiastic men.
I managed to escape when they finally were satisfied me haven taken enough pictures of them.
Probably their brain programms them that the more pictures are taken of them the more important one is 👅 ?
Which would also declare why the world is so fond of selfies 🤳.
You know, all those billions of pictures on which some face blocks spoils the view.
Then I passed a special "building" that was completely packed in plastic.
Which was not related to the weatherforecast (I think).
Maybe it was a big tent for festivities, ie celebrating the upcoming end of the ramadan.
There was a carshop annex shopcar.
I passed a donkey that was kept in a nice field where it had lots of room, food, water and shade.
I'm so sorry to say but it feels like I am going to hate this country 💣 💥 💢 ...
And there was this market where everything just happens on a major street.
Were just some 100 mts furtheron live was on a different level.
In the outskirts lots of new appartments are being constructed.
Although I don't understand how they are constructed.
You don't see any persons, let alone ones that work.
The cranes are not moving and there are no trucks coming nor going.
Nothing happens, whereever you look 💭.
At this site I saw one (1) man and he was looking down.
As usual no safety precautions are taken, except for wearing a helmet.
I think he thought "pfuh, this is rather high, I should hold tight here !"
He however also was not in danger since he did not move at all 💭.
The highway to Casablance that I would not take.
I took the secundary road which was lively and interesting.
How much (little) tyreprofile are you looking for ?
Dh 10 maybe, or even Dh 20 ?
Then I entered Casablanca (which means white house) were I had booked a room in a private appartment.
I cycled to the appartmentblock were the french owner welcomed me enthousiastic.
But that appartment was "not clean" 😬.
At 19h00 we made a "short" walk of 30 minutes to his favorite cafe were we would have coffee as soon as the ramadan time
would end.
Also we could do some shopping there at his favorite supermarché.
This was all not what I was hoping for ...
But I had a quiet night and a good sleep.
The next morning I noticed the owner was a little bit paranoia concerning thiefs.
And he was interrupting me every 10 seconds, regardless of what I was saying and even when I was answering his own questions.
So I told myself to adapt to him.
But could I manage to do that ???
